My Mom Entrepreneur Story...

Now that you're a mom, your normal activities changed. Taking a leisurely trip to the mall is like a fond memory of the past. Your kids whine, climb out of the stroller and pull every piece of clothing off the hangers as they run the aisles. Has your child ever gotten fidgety while you were trying on clothes? There's nothing like apologizing to the naked lady next door after your kid crawls underneath the wall into to the next change room.

Maybe you tried to shop with kids in tow and you needed four hands instead of two. During one particular shopping trip, I gripped both of my children's hands, one on each arm. I reached for a hanger and had to let go of a hand for an instant.  Suddenly my child disappeared. Immediately I felt sick to my stomach as I thought my child could be missing. My body became numb and time stood still. After only a few moments that seemed like hours, I saw two little feet poking out of the clothing rack next to me. So thankful that my child was safe, I realized then that my love for shopping would have to take second place to my sanity.

 

Wanting to find clothes for my ever-growing children without paying full price, I began Growing Growing Gone. This mom-owned, home-based kids clothing business strongly focuses on you, the customer.
